Barnstable County’s Household Hazardous Waste Program provides residents with a means to safely dispose of products deemed too harmful to throw away with standard, everyday garbage.

The county manages 24 waste collection events across the Cape between the spring and fall, which helps prevent hazardous waste from entering Cape Cod’s aquifer – the region’s sole natural source of drinking water.
