What is Luminous Being?
20 June 2024 - CHATHAM, MA - New York Philharmonic violinist Audrey Wright premiered Luminous Being, performance art that explores the magical connections between sound light and technology at the Atwood House Museum.
The Cape Cod native says the collaboration between her and artist/maker Geoff Robertson creates an experience designed for spaces not typically thought of a violin venue. While the next stop for the performance is the Hirshhorn Museum's festival Sound Scene in Washington DC, the duo hopes to bring their work to to parks, the New York subway ... and maybe a Cape Cod Beach.
