Cape Cod Potters, 450 unique bowls, and a sold out crowd help combat food insecurity on Cape Cod.

"We're back in person for the first time since COVID.... and we sold 450 tickets and that's based on the number of bowls made by cape cod potters ... every single one is handmade and fired by them..."

Valerie Murray,
Vice President, Cape Cod Potters

What is Cape Cod Potters role in combating hunger on Cape Cod?

For the 32nd year, the Cape Cod Potters and hundreds of one-of-a-kind bowls helped The Family Pantry address food insecurity on Cape Cod as part of a popular fundraising event. Soup Bowls for Hunger sold out this year, when it returned in person to the new Cape Cod Technical School in Harwich after several years of a drive-througn COVID adaption.

The event brings together Cape Cod Potters and its members, the Cape Cod Tech culinary program, and The Food Pantry to serve soup in unique bowls, while bringing the community together to break bread, and tackle hunger in the region.
