What is on the warrant?
08 November 2024 - BREWSTER, MA - All things Sea Camps dominates the warrant for Brewster's Special town meeting on November 18. Although a few other articles around Sunday liquor sales and housing by-law amendments appear in the mix, Town Administrator Peter Lombardi expects the bulk of the meeting to focus on the comprehensive plan for the former Sea Camps properties.
What is planned for Sea Camps?
At the May Annual Town meeting Town Meeting approved a comprehensive plan for the two Sea Camp properties. Now, at the Special Town Meeting the articles seeks the funds to begin to implement the plans. Each site contains
a variety of uses for recreation such as trails and tennis courts, as well as conservation needs such as dune restoration and removal of old and unused buildings.
When is Brewster's special town meeting?
Brewster's special town meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2024 at 6 pm at the Stony Brook Elementary School.
